Weekly Update 5/25/18
Dear eDCSD Families,
Summer is here and we sure have had a successful year. This will be the last weekly update for the 17/18 school year and it includes many important announcements. Please be sure to read through it in its entirety and give the office a call if you have any questions. The staff at eDCSD would like to thank you for a great school year and wish you a happy, relaxing, and safe summer break! See you in the fall! Please read the school year’s final announcements below.
End of the Quarter Notice (All Students)
eDCSD is on a quarterly grading period system. The end of the grading period is Friday, May 25th, for the fourth quarter. All final exams need to be completed by TONIGHT at MIDNIGHT. Final grades will be posted after Monday, May 29th.
At the high school level, a passing grade (D or above) at the end of the quarter is equal to .25 credits added to their transcript. Quarter 3 and quarter 4 grades are not averaged. They are individual terms and are posted separately. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Mental Health Support
If you need help with mental health, substance abuse or an emotional crisis, please call Colorado Crisis Services at 1-844-493-8255. They have live support 24/7/365.
Just a reminder, if you have borrowed an eDCSD computer this school year, laptops need to be returned to the office no later than June 4. Computers cannot be checked out over the summer for use during summer school so we can prepare our inventory for next year. Just a reminder that your deposit will be refunded once the computer is returned in good condition. The refund comes through the district and typically takes 60-90 days. Please call our office with any questions.

Fundraising for Ellie- Update
A HUGE thank you to those who contributed, bought goodies, and gave Ellie belly rubs. We raised $693.00 for her insurance. This meets our $500 goal for this year and gives us a great jump start on next year. Ellie, her handler (Mrs. O’Brien), and Mrs. Hart want to thank you for helping to keep Ellie on our team. PS. Ellie and Mrs. Hart are going to miss each other this summer!
