Weekly update 2/23/18

Dear eDCSD Families,

I hope that you have been enjoying watching the intense competition, sportsmanship, and dedication of the athletes in the winter olympics as much as I have.  What a great reminder of what can be accomplished when we set goals and work hard to achieve them!  Please read this week’s announcements below.
Intent To Re-Enroll (Full Time eDCSD Students) If you are full time with eDCSD, please take a minute to complete this quick survey to let us know where you are planning to send your student to school for the 18/19 school year.  Please note that if you are planning to have your child attend another school and we do not make advance arrangements, enrollment at another DCSD may not be possible due to limited space.  The sooner you let us know, the better. Weekly Update 2/9/18

Important System Update (All Students) Our Building Leadership Team, Principal Advisory Group and SAC have been hard at work exploring options and discussing what systems our school needed to best support student learning.  We will be moving away from Moodle and Plato next year.  Starting in summer school, we will be using Canvas for our new learning management system (LMS) and partnering with several content vendors to ensure we can deliver the quality education our students need with the ability to still create a personalized experience.  Here is an assessment of how Canvas and out content partners stack up against the wish list created by staff, students, and parents.  Our staff has begun training for Canvas so we can ensure the trans…

Weekly Update 2/2/18

Hey there football fans!  It's sad our home team is not in the big game but at least we have the commercials to root for.  We hope you have a great weekend.  Please read this week’s announcements below.
Field Trip (all students) We are heading to an optional field trip to the Family Sports Center (6901 S. Peoria, Centennial, CO. 80112) for a day of fun and ice skating!  Student can meet us there at 10 am or leave from eDCSD on the bus.  The cost is $11.95 (cash or check made out to eDCSD).  Please bring a sack lunch.  Here is the link to sign up.   All eDCSD students are welcome to join us.  Please email with questions.
