School Accountability Committee (SAC) (All Students) Parents, are you looking for ways to get involved in your child’s school?  This group of school personnel, parents, and community members meet quarterly to discuss issues facing the school and our students.  This is a great opportunity for parent input and we welcome yours!  We will be discussing our school's performance data, continuous improvement planning, and gaining feedback regarding upcoming changes to our learning management systems.  THE NEXT MEETING IS Jan 24 at 2:30 PM.  If you cannot meet in person but want to join virtually, join us via Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/125656901.

As a reminder, we do not have school or VC’s on Monday in honor of the MLK holiday.  While courses are open to students, we also hope you take a little time to reflect on the messages of Dr. King.  Have a great weekend!  Please read the announcements below.

Vending machine (All Students) You may have noticed that we have procured a small vending machine (if not,it is in the classroom).  The Principal’s Advisory Council suggested that students needed a way to purchase breakfast, lunch and snack items during blended since we do not have a cafeteria.  All profits will be used to fund student’s blended projects and scholarship opportunities for our seniors.  Bring your pocket change and your appetite!

Quarter 3 Coursework Begins January 8 (All Students) Starting on Monday, January 8th,  all quarter 3 courses will be open for students.  PLEASE check your schedule in Infinite Campus to be sure it is correct.  Reach out to Jenny Alsup (grade 9) or Janda Bliek (grades 10-12) with any changes.  On Jan 8 (after 9 am), check to be sure you can access all of the classes you are supposed to have.  If you are missing any course on your Moodle OR your Plato courseware, please contact jennifer.payne@dcsdk12.org.
